Remember I had to take QET in NUS?

Today, I got my QET result online.

I Took NUS QET At MPHS1 Today

Friday, July 18th, 2008

Today, an important event for me is my QET. I find it quite amusing of the fact that even before the official start of my NUS school life, I am greeted with this examination. Think about it, school has not started, and I just had my first paper. Ha…

Anyhow, I reached Multi-Purpose Sports Hall 1 (MPSH1) too early, and I only saw 2 other people sitting at the vicinity outside the hall. When the time was nearly 9.30am, the time of the test, the place was crowded.

I am glad it is over. I hope I pass this test, so I don’t have to take the English module in my course of studies in NUS.

NUS QET

The highlight of today is my registration for the Qualification English Test (QET) of NUS.

Why do I have to take this test? Well, it is because I am not exempted from this test. I was from Polytechnic, and I do not possess the qualifications, such as General Paper, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.

I decide to share how I register for QET, so that anyone whom may be interested to find out how to do it may refer to this page. If you just want to see the steps I took, simply scroll down to the pictures with descriptions. If not, read on…

My Wednesday on 3rd July 2008

Let’s see… What did I do today?

Today is the birthday of an old friend, Kian Boon (my Primary School buddy). I always played basketball with him and our ‘gang’. He used to be shorter than me in Primary School, but he’s way taller than me now. Okay, I’m short. I know. Shhh!

I started preparing for my third duty for next Saturday’s service, as acoustic guitarist. At least I got all the songs… Shall prepare further tomorrow… Hmmm…

Today, I also went to Bedok Library to attempt the NUS QET sample paper. It’s not as easy as I thought, especially when I haven’t written any essay for the last two years! I was in NS, remember? If you want to know more about what is this QET I am talking about, click here.

Me In Bedok Library
Man, I look spastic in this picture. This is me, taken in Bedok Library.
