Low Han Yew’s Journal

I am now an official undergraduate of NUS! Next week, it’s my orientation week, also known as O Week. I will be going to school almost every week. Then, in the following week, my lectures and tutorials will start to kick in. I am so excited to go back to school life! That is, of course, apart from my anxiety to come from the workload from studies.

What does that mean?

It means I will become busier! I have to adjust my life back to school life. The schedule of my lectures and tutorials will fill up a portion of my Calendar. So, I need more time to revamp my weekly schedule in this coming 2 weeks.

Therefore, I may be blogging lesser. I was blogging in this blog practically every day since June 2008 till now. (If you saw a missing day, it’s probably a private post, meant only for me to see.)

Then again, if I have something to share about my life, those that I really really think it’s really really worth sharing or be kept as part of my memory, I will surely blog them down!

Watch out for the videos and pictures and even mp3 podcasts in time to come!

Peaceful day.

Swimming
I went swimming today alone. Actually, I was just staying in the pool for less than an hour. Swam only a few laps. Sunny day, great for swimming!

Music Practice
Nel told me on msn that I’ll be on duty this coming Saturday as acoustic guitarist for Tertiary service. Mei Hwa sms-ed me the details of the songs. Practice, practice.

Planning
I planned on my iCal my schedule. I am actually a bit ‘lost’ of my time-management. Okay, stay calm. Don’t panic. Don’t be stressed. Peace!

Finally planned for this 2 weeks. Gotta watch my every move carefully. I don’t wanna miss out on the Plan. Ha.. Praise God! Can get a new handphone soon. Mum gave me the money… Partly, the reason is because Jane Joy is taking back her phone… Ha… Might as well… Now’s it’s holiday too… A blessing is disguise. Thank You for Your providence!

I penned down some to-do-tasks this morning at home. Guess with the deadlines and the dates of events, I have my weeks till end of January set. Might as well, I rather be busy with purpose than to idle without direction. I am glad and very excited to be living for Him!

What shall I say? Hmm… yesterday talked with this sister online… I pray, hope, and believe she’ll respond in obedience by the grace of Dad. Changes are always good when you go through them with Jesus. After all, who can be bigger than Him? He is in control. =D

My mind is now coped up with some people’s faces and their well-being. I am concerned and I am praying earnestly and waiting patiently. Ha… Today’s entry seem so much with hidden meaning. Don’t wanna stumble ma~ Anyway, God is good, all the time!

I long to dwell in His presence forever. Sometimes, I just feel like simply resting in Him.

Let everything be according to Your perfect will. Lord, protect the NBs especially. I commit my life and my CG’s lives into Your hands. Show Yourself faithful yet again, for You are! Thank You. Yes.

I will celebrate You, just for who You are!

Yesterday night, Yuqian had a fever. She asked me to pray for her, cos today she has to be at the x’mas ss too. People matters. We prayed and believe. I wonder if she’s well already. Anyway, He is Healer and He deserves all glory. Yes.

Now, I’m at 1 Peter already. Today, I shall relax and immerse myself in this joyous ocassion of celebration with Y Hope, my family! Yay~ Ahhh… feel so relax now… lols. I’m expecting a great moment later with the rest. =D

These few days… Frankly speaking, I am tired… But I am all so vibrant and kicking spiritually! 3 weeks have come so far since school reopened. My eyes are set upon what is unseen and eternal. He who brought me (and many of us) thus far will surely bring me further, even till the end.

Yesterday (later as well), many of us TP Y Hope walked all over TP campus, particularly at the “mushroom” invited TP students for our very own Christmas production. We started out excited in spirit and energectic physically. Throughout the breaks and after released of school, we were inviting, using the invitation cards that we recieved. Thank God for Shulin for bringing them. When evening neared, at around 5pm, we were tired physically, yet our spirit was lifted higher. We got to invite many people and came to know quite a number of contact numbers cos we exchanged with those whom we invited. Glad to invite. This is a great season and occasion!

Here are the names of those whom I know were with us. They ought to be honored for their zeal and obedience:

Shiva, HuiWen, XueTing, JingQi, YinLuan, Shulin, QingCai, Ritchie, Serene…etc.

Some came and joined us after their school:

Jasmine, Abel, Candy…etc.

Others are striving hard elsewhere:

JonLee was practising, Nel was at Nexus, Donald was working, Clar was in Nexus dancing…etc.

I know some of us serve with a certain kind of motive not pleasing to God. I also know sometimes we can become weary and burden. Know this trustworthy sating by Jesus: Come all those who are weary and burndened, and I will give you rest; yoke is light and my peace is not of this world. Therefore, let us keep up with being pure in mind and motive. Exercise integrity.

To some others who read this entry, I think it is not a coincidence you read this now. Hear this: do not engage in meaningless argue. It does not build up anyone and prove anyone to be more superior. However, if anyone should boast, he should be proud to boast about Christ and all God’s faithfulness and consistent love. Avoid people who cause disunity. Pray for unity. Set example in speech and expressing care, so that you can share in the glory of Him in future. Stay true and humble to this faith. Keep enjoying this free privelge of living for Dad.

Finally, I just wanna say:

I have decided, so now I am not afraid. Jesus is alive and I choose to live for Him.

Yesterday, I like yesterday. So far, 3 friends had confirmed with me that they are coming for the 23rd x’mas performance!! People out there reading… Good things must share!!! This is the season for them to know the reason for the season. Yupx. Really excited.

Had school… did project reseach… Thank God, at least I’m getting somewhere…

Followed up on a nb.. I’ll call him feng from now on… sounds cool to me… Haha… Thank God for those who were with me during the meet up, especially Leslie from NYP. He lived so far, yet, through his act of travelling down just to meet up awhile (which is really short meet up compared to his travelling time!). Every little thing counts!

Had prayer meet with Nel and some others… It’s a fruitful one. I shared about the happiness of the Jap language… It’s really very happy wan… If you wanna know more, come and talk to me lor… Next, Nel shared about the programs of the X’mas performance. Wow, I tell ya man, if you miss it, you miss it sia~ It’s really cool!!! Hip Hope dance, funny skit, humourous hosts and speaker, touching MM and song presentation, skilled and dedicated musios and choir!!!

At night, called friends… now I’ve got 3… Power man… Oh ya, almost got to be so honored to hear chialing sing “Lord I Offer My Life”… nvms… Haha… Had a great tiem chatting with Feng and Joleen. Joleen, treasure the Word, k? Really thank God for you in your obedience and faith in Him. He who bring you thus far will surely bring you further, even till completion.

Time flies… yes, time flies… URGENCY… I really don’t have much time… So, what shall I do? I will plan and maximise my time…

Paul says that he (I mean everyone in Christ), in carnal nature (still in the sinful self), though is made clean by Jesus, will still have struggle. Hear this: I (in fact, all of us) often keep doing what I do not wish to do and often keep not to do what I wish to do. However, I know that in Him, we can do all things. With man, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.

Recently, I talked to lingalings about my thoughts-sorted-out-many-times of the worth of serving God. I will sum up what I said. It is worthy to invest what is temporal for what is eternal, such is a godly wisdom than any other secular businessman on earth.

Yesterday, I am glad that I could be of help to Jane Joy in my minut ability of giving her choices of songs for the East’s coming up X’mas party at East RC. So far, she’s still fond of that song, “As You Go To Sleep Tonight”. Ya, indeed, it’s a nice song… Ha… Glad I could be of help. I miss East. Ha… I will not hide my affection of the people whom I was serving with so closely. Yet, I treasure my brothers and sister who are with me in Poly and TP ministry now too!

I love You. (Guess what’s so unusual in that sentence?)

I love to be in Your presence forever. I simply can’t help but to be drowned by Your waves of mercy. You flooded me with so much grace. It’s as if I am covered from head to toe and overflowing in Your mighty power. What is this new life that You’ve given me? You invaded me with Your message of that cross hung with You! I must quickly share this good news with everyone! I thought I had everything, but I realised I had nothing. I thought I was all I wanted to be, but I realised I was not so. When You came, You told me, ” You are not worthless; Your are priceless.” Wow… You put Your treasures in jars of clay like me… Who can comprehend Your unconditional love? Who can debate with You about Your unreasonable love? You are the great Maker; who can argue with You?

Now, in You, I have all I that I need!

I just want You.

I just want to please You.

I love You.

break fast! Gonna eat and rest (maybe a nap)… Haha… It’s biblical to rest too, esepcially when you know you have worked hard. Even God told Abraham to rest and eat when Abraham had worked hard. I am not ashamed to claim what I can claim for. Yupx!

I believe with all my heart that God will bless TP and the entire Hope ministry (even Youth Hope Ministry) with abundant lives of revival this Christmas. TP breaks 50!

Good morning, guess what? Now, I can blog at home le… Not that I’ve fixed the virus in my com… It just happned that sometimes I can blog… A miracle?

After the camp, I really slept alot. Now, I do not wanna sleep le… It’s a great morning! I wanna spend time planning well and really pray to God about my short term vision till this years Christmas. I have to be ready for miracles to come in! This is a day that the Lord has made, let me rejoice and be glad in it!

Let me focus my eyes on You.
