You Think Too Much
0“You think too much.”
This is what I hear once in awhile. Believe it or not, I used to be very bothered by this comment. This is because it made me feel like an outcast / alien.
Maybe I am weird im some people’s eyes. Maybe I am discriminated because of what and how I think. But hanging on these thoughts won’t add build me up but tear me down as a person.
So here’s what I’ve come to resolve regarding that kind of comment:
Nobody thinks too much. Whether I like it or not, my mind is always at work. If my brain stops thinking, I am as good as a vegetable. Any healthy human being will think.
So the problem is not with thinking too much, but in harnessing those thoughts and organizing them into useful applications. You see, I define power as organized knowledge.
I will end off this post with a quote from Henry ford.
Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it.
