De-Stress At East Coast Park

ECP

I went to to East Coast Park today, alone.

I had my Quiet Time there. I felt too stressed up from doing my tutorials. I wanted a break. I went alone, with my bible. I enjoyed the sea breeze and the light warmth from the sun, and my personal time with my Friend, my God (Holy Spirit). I had undivided attention from Him. I prayed. I read bible. I relaxed. I rejuvenated my strength.

“I will wait for you, just for you.”
I love to wait upon You. =)

Then, I went to find Bernadette. I met her at her void deck, then, we went to MacDonald’s of Bedok Interchange to chat.

I told her about what I gained from yesterday’s sermon by Kai Ming of Philippino service (from my Church), on vision, and the story of Walt Disney’s wife’s answer to a man who commented, “Isn’t it a shame that Mr Disney did not live to see the completion of the first Disneyland?” She replied, “He (Walt Disney) saw it, that’s why it’s happening.” This is the power of vision.

Bernadette told me about what her group’s Family Day did in the guitar room of her secondary school, about the daily morning prayer meet before school starts, about a friend who came to receive Christ, but kept falling back to her old ways of sinning, and so on. I walked her home and I am refreshed. I enjoyed spending quality time with her.
